PLACES TO VISIT

Whatever your interest, the Llŷn is blessed with places you may wish to visit during your stay here at Graeanfryn.

Graeanfryn is centrally located near the northern coastline of the Llŷn Peninsula. We are approximately 1.5 miles from the villages of Nefyn and Morfa Nefyn and some 6 miles miles from the market town of Pwllheli.

The Llŷn is on the western-most point of North Wales. It is designated an ‘Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’ on the strength of its exceptional coastline of coves, headlands, beaches and bays rich in wildlife.

Today, they are all linked by the Llŷn Coastal Path that forms part of the All-Wales Coast Path. The breathtaking views you will encounter along the path are reason enough to want to visit the Llŷn.

Travelling around the Llŷn is mainly on single carriageway roads. However, to reach some of the more remote areas and beaches, you will need to navigate your way through narrow country lanes and possibly farm tracks, so please take the upmost care.

Public transport is restricted to buses and there is a bus stop very near to the site. However, there are only a short number of journeys available from there. If you’re happy to walk approximately half a mile towards the B4417, you’ll be able to access a more regular bus service that runs from Pwllheli to Nefyn, Tudweiliog and Aberdaron. Alternatively, check the Llŷn Coastal Bus which provides journeys right across the Llŷn.

If you’ve never visited the Llŷn before or are looking to return, why not make it your next holiday destination and book your stay here with us at Graeanfryn.
